Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect three kinds of information:

• ·Quiz and lead information you give us: your email address, an optional first name, your preferred language, and your quiz answers (passport nationality, country of residence, goal, timeline, budget range, who is applying, and languages you're comfortable in).
• ·Usage events we record ourselves: which pages you visit on this site, which agency links and buttons you click, the page that referred you, your country, your device type (mobile or desktop), and your language preference. To count unique visitors without cookies, we store a short-lived anonymous identifier derived from your IP address and browser that changes every day and cannot be reversed. We never store your IP address itself.
• ·Analytics collected by third parties: we use Google Analytics 4 (which sets cookies) and Ahrefs Analytics (which is cookieless) to understand aggregate traffic.

How we use it

• ·To generate your instant agency match and email it to you, together with the full comparison.
• ·To send a small number of check-in emails (around day 7, 30 and 60) asking how your process is going. Your replies go to a real person and inform our editorial ratings. This is how we keep agencies honest.
• ·To attribute referrals: if you click through to an agency and sign up, the agency may pay us a commission. This never changes your price.
• ·To operate, secure and improve the site.

What we never do

• ·We do not sell your personal information.
• ·We only share your details with an agency when you explicitly ask us to introduce you, and only with the single agency you choose. We never hand your email or quiz answers to agencies automatically. Until you request an introduction, your information stays with us.
• ·When you click "Get started", you go to the agency's own website via a tracked referral link. We do not transmit your email or quiz answers in that hand-off; anything you choose to give the agency from that point is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
• ·We do not run third-party advertising or share data with ad networks.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small set of service providers to run the site. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• ·Vercel: hosting and content delivery.
• ·Turso: our database, where lead and event records are stored.
• ·Resend: sends our transactional and check-in emails.
• ·Google Analytics 4: aggregate traffic analytics (cookie-based).
• ·Ahrefs Analytics: aggregate traffic analytics (cookieless).

Cookies and consent

Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors. If you're visiting from the EU, UK or Switzerland, those cookies stay off until you accept them in the consent banner; declining keeps analytics off entirely. Everywhere else they load by default. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

Ahrefs Analytics does not use cookies. The admin area uses a session cookie that only matters if you're us. A small cookie remembers your consent choice and your country (so we know which rules apply). We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How long we keep things

We keep lead records (your email, quiz answers and status) for as long as they're useful for referral attribution and our editorial ratings, and we keep aggregate analytics indefinitely. If you ask us to delete your data, we will.

Your rights

Wherever you live, we apply the same rule: email us and we'll show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Unsubscribe links are in every non-essential email we send. If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, Brazil (LGPD) or California (CCPA), these rights are backed by law; we honor them for everyone regardless.

Children

This service is for adults arranging residency and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle lead data will be flagged to active leads by email.
