ParaguayAgencies isn't a content farm with affiliate links. I went through the Paraguay residency process as a paying customer: the unlisted prices, the contradictory Telegram advice, the sponsored YouTube 'reviews'. The hard part was never the paperwork. It was that almost every source was an agency selling what it happened to offer. So I built the neutral layer I wished had existed when I started.
The short version
When I decided to get Paraguay residency, I assumed choosing an agency would be the easy part. It was the hardest. Nobody published prices. Every review traced back to a commission. The only honest information lived in scattered Telegram threads that contradicted each other.
So I did it the hard way: emailed agencies, compared answers in a spreadsheet, picked one, flew to Asunción, and went through the whole process: documents, queues, biometrics, the wait, the cédula.
Friends started asking who I used. The spreadsheet became this directory. The directory got rules: every agency listed with real prices, every rating editorially independent, every referral relationship disclosed.

What it actually cost me
I went the one-trip route with Paraguay Pathways' Gold package. Here's what I actually paid. Travel isn't a clean line item for me, so I've kept it honest rather than tidy.
Government and cédula fees were bundled into the agency package, so there's no separate government line. Travel is excluded from the total because it wasn't a discrete cost for me: I was already living in Latin America and flew about $250 one-way from Uruguay, then continued on to Colombia. If you're planning your own trip, budget your flights plus roughly $800–900 a month for a one-bedroom Airbnb in Asunción. Doing my documents from outside Canada (I was nomadic in Mexico and Brazil at the time) made that part more involved and a bit pricier than handling it at home would have been.
I paid in Canadian dollars. The USD figures here are approximate conversions at May 2025 rates.
