How this site makes money, and how we rate

Paraguay residency looks simple, but the advice market is broken: almost every 'resource' is an agency's sales funnel that tells you what they sell and goes quiet on what they can't. This site is the neutral layer. Here's exactly how it works: the truths agencies won't volunteer, how we rate, how we make money, and what we promise.

🧭 The truths agencies won't volunteer

The one-trip option is real

Some agencies will tell you it's impossible. Usually that's because they can't offer it: collecting your cédula on one trip needs power of attorney, which depends on local connections. We mark who can actually do it.

Temporary residency without an address service is a trap

People discover it later, when they can't prove ties to Paraguay. We surface the services you didn't know to ask about: address service, RUC, monthly accounting.

Real residency means real ties

A RUC plus monthly accounting builds a tax-nexus paper trail, and the 2026 solvency rule makes that load-bearing for permanent residency. Some agencies teach you this. Many just turn out residencies and let you find the gaps after you've paid.

💸 How referrals work

Some agencies pay us a referral fee when someone we send them signs up. Agencies with an active referral agreement are marked with a 'Partner' badge wherever they appear: on cards, profiles and comparison tables.

Two things referral money cannot do here: it cannot change a rating, and it cannot change your price. You pay the same whether you arrive through us or not.

We earn a fee when you sign. Never from you, never affecting rank.

⭐ How ratings work

Every rating is editorial. It's based on: real prices relative to what's delivered, responsiveness and honesty during pre-sale questions, document handling quality, timeline accuracy versus what was promised, language support that actually works, and feedback from real applicants who reach us through check-in emails.

Ratings are never negotiated. No agency can pay to raise a rating, and no agency can pay to remove one.

Price transparency, delivery speed, communication, reader feedback.

Why we ask for your email before the quiz result

Two reasons. First, we send your match and the full comparison so you don't lose it. Second, and more important, we check in with you at day 7, 30 and 60 to hear how the process actually went. Those replies go to a real person, and they're the backbone of our ratings. Agencies know we hear directly from their customers; that's what keeps the listings honest.

Affiliate disclosure: some links are tracked referrals. If you sign with an agency through us, they pay us a commission. It costs you nothing and does not change your price or our rankings.
